‘Diligent, passionate, great communicator and motivational speaker are some of the adjectives which have been used to describe myself and my work to date.'
I am a TEDx and Motivational Speaker, Systems Analyst and Social Impact Consultant - with lived experience of addiction and over a decade of experience within the charity and public sectors.
Integrity and humility are my core values which enabled me to take a start-up organisation to reach its full potential as a leading UK service provider. Within a decade, I successfully developed an embryonic concept and created a respected service model that holistically assisted people that had been affected by addiction & other modern day harms (such as – low levels of skills/education, poor mental health, social injustice, homelessness, unemployment, indebtedness etc.).
This model is revered for its effectiveness, professionalism and cost-effectiveness (noted through receiving the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2014 and in 2018 twice being highlighted as a European Model of Best Practice).
I firmly believe that with the right vision and support, that communities can solve the issues that they're facing and that without collective input, such endeavours are often futile and short sighted.
I understand the intricacies and complexities that exist within diverse sections of society and champion change within the media & political, economic and strategic environments.
I was shortlisted for The 2018 Guardian Public Service Awards, where I was the runner up in the category for 'Public Servant of the Year’.
I have continually championed the voice of the voiceless, and have worked tirelessly to affect systemic barriers in relation to morals, ethics, practice and policy - particularly relating to Economic Empowerment, Drug Policy & Social Justice reform.
I am a living example of the potential that lies within each person that is marginalised within society and have demonstrated practical examples of strategies and delivery models required in order to truly improve the lives of all sections of modern civilization in the UK and around the globe.
I am a fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), Operation Black Vote Alumnus, Windsor Leadership Alumnus and a CMI Chartered Manager.'
